It has been ages since I post or even visited this site. It is kinda sad because the people I browse through have not posted in 100-190 weeks. LiveJournal is celebrating 10 years, but how long will it last? :-(

Lack of Concentration and Motivation = Frustration

Tomorrow I find out if I will be dropping my math course. I know I did not do well on the exam.
I cannot concentrate long enough to listen in class and understand things. After I've done my homework problems, I don't remember how I did them. An old saying comes to mind, "in one ear and out the other." That's what it's like...very frustrating.
It doesn't help any that I went the first month of class without a book. The first person I bought a book from took my money (I was just refunded this week from half.com). The second seller waited 10 days before they even sent the book. I just hope I can reuse the book when I retake the course.

I am alive :-) I just have not posted here in 9 weeks??? wow! Read the Emily Dickenson poem "I am alive - I guess." It is quite intriguing!

What's going on?
I am in a musical, "ANNIE." That will keep me busy for the next 6 weeks.

Since I have heard of all the uproar with the new Crown, I have not been to any SCA events. I'm not certain if I will attend any events until the next crowning. There seems to be an abuse of power. Makes me think there is some scandal involving a rapier person and someone else...hehe
Also, what's the point in going to balls and not dancing? I hate begging for partners. It would have been very unbecoming for a woman of that time.

To my friend I have neglected, I apologize. It was not my intention to do so at all!

Well...I think I did okay today...maybe??

Lunch: ummmmm :-( no, I just remembered...I did NOT do "okay" today! I had a honeybun and coffee :-( yucky
Dinner: I'm going to eat a banana right now...will eat something else after I get home.

I did not want to get out of bed today...and I believe it is because of work. I did NOOOOOOT want to go in today :-( I hate it! It's too stressful. It should not be stressful, but I am set off so easily! I came in and saw a sheet of paper on my desk. It basically restated some information I already had (everyone in the office already had). No one needed a restatement...it was just in a little different format. I understand that whoever did it was probably trying to help, but it ticked me off. I felt like "she wasted that paper for this???" I know...it's mean :-(

Right now, a co-worker of mine is using the copier...copying information that will have to be recopied very soon...there is no need for her to be copying it right now! That really ticks me off too.

I think I'm just a big baby! haha Everything has to be done my way, or it's wrong! My boss (Olivia) and the director from another area at work (Mary) made a script for something. When I saw it, I was like, "that's alllll wrong!!!" "I'm going to have to re-record the message, so why should I record it to begin with???" I went ahead and recorded the message...and of course I was right...I then had to re-record it.
When I saw Olivia, I expressed my concerns for the misinformation in the script. Then I sent out the message to Mary. Mary immediately called Olivia, and I have a feeling Olivia told Mary MY concerns but didn't say they were MINE...she acted like she came up with those concerns. I'm tired of getting run over here. I get NO credit for what I do/say/think. It really stinks.

btw: Olivia and Mary not their real names :-)

I write all of this because it is part of my unhealthy stress :-(

I've been feeling really blahh lately.
I do have some good news though. Here's my blood pressure for two dates:
02-20-06: 113/67 Heartrate: 65 BPM
02-24-06: 114/68 Heartrate: 67 BPM
So I guess my blood pressure is fine. I wonder what it would have been last week or the week before...glad I don't know!
I try to check my blood pressure every time I go to Kmart. I LOVE Kmart :-)
I do NOT like Walmart...haven't given them my money in almost two years!

I have done a little better about food lately...well...no, I haven't. Who am I kidding? I've eaten Burger King and McDonalds a lot :(
Yes, I've probably felt bad/down each time I did that. I do remember thinking, "I don't care! I'm getting a caramel sundae!" or "I'm getting Little Caesar's Pizza!"
That's certainly not a healthy choice, especially when you haven't eaten well that day.

I really have had no exercise. I stayed in bed ALL day Thursday. I stayed home from work...sick. I don't know if I was really sick or not though. Maybe I just made myself feel sick.

One minute I'm excited...the next I am (or feel like) crying. When I'm excited, I'm more like cuckoo...and I really have nothing to be excited about. It's strange...don't understand it. I haven't really been DOWN the past few days...but just blahh.
I was really excited tonight because I bought an optical mouse. My other mouse was lousy...as was the two before it.

On the news tonight, there was a portion on "GERMS" and the germiest places.

Well, my desk/computer/phone is pretty clean. I do not let anyone touch them. I clean regularly with alcohol. I cannot stand the thought of someone using anything of mine. If someone uses my pen/pencil, I clean it with alcohol and wash my hands.
I think it is more of the grease from someone rather than the germs from someone. People rub their faces with their fingers then get grease on everything they touch. I'm a psycho about this stuff. I drive my sister and nieces crazy. My co-workers know a little bit, but they have no idea that if they touch anything of mine, I have to clean it.
I do not rub my face with my fingers...ewwww If I touch my face, I wash my hands afterward...maybe not EVERY time, but most of the time.
Opening doors is a problem for me...I always try to use my left hand and open the door from the least worn area of the handle. I handle object from the edges if possible. I have a VERY difficult time using a computer that is not "clean." I CAN use it, but I wash my hands as soon as I'm done...and try not to "contaminate" my things as I gather them up.
For me, simply wiping your hands on your napkin after a meal is NOT good enough. You can wipe all you want, but if you touched your food, that grease is still on your hands! (I know...crazy) :( I always try to make my nieces wash their hands AFTER they eat (as well as before) because I don't want them touching me with "greasy" hands.
I know I come across as very mean about all this though. It REALLY bothers me...the thought of having grossness from someone else. It does not matter what the person looks like...they can look dirty or super clean...same thing.
The fact is, people do NOT wash their hands!! It's disgusting :(
I believe this all started when I began taking piano lessons about 10 years ago. People would eat potato chips then play the piano. I would have to clean to keys each time I wanted to practice. It ticked me off so much! I finally posted signs in the piano practice rooms, "Please wash your greasy, potato chip hands before playing the piano." Pretty rude huh? It was nasty though! argh
I'm not ready to change, but just typing all this helps me to see how ridiculous it all is. Although a part of me says, "NO! it's not ridiculous!"
Anyway!
Hope to post regularly on here, but we'll see!

Day 10...how many days did I miss? I have not been very healthy as far as eating goes...skipping meals, eating junk :-( Shame on me! grrr

Well...here's today's news:

Lunch: well...first I ate...I just finished...

I had some yogart, coffee, and ::cringe:: a Cinnamon Roll worth 22 fat grams :-(
What bad bad girl I am...don't eat until now...then my choice of food = rotten!

I'll eat soup for dinner though...so at least that will be okay haha
